It was actually just after the end of the World War II era which had a lot of chaotic and terrible side effects on the life and the future of the people. The NGOs then came into existence and their role was to support all the people who are struggling in any manner after the war. For this matter the government and the wealthy people start donating to such organizations and it further refined the shape of an NGO which we see today. An NGO ideally should look to specialize in one major problem in the society and should set it as the main goal of their NGO. They should set for themselves achievable targets and try to get it done within the time limit they have set.
